Giulio Di Sturco
Giulio Di Sturco (b.1979 Italy) studied at the European Institute of Design and Visual Arts in Rome. In 2007 he moved to India where he spent the next five years refining his visual vocabulary, working in close collaboration with Greenpeace, MSF, WHO and Action Aid throughout much of Asia and Africa. In 2009 Giulio joined the VII Mentor Program. His awards include a World Press Photo first prize, as well as first prizes in the Sony Photography Awards, and the British Journal of Photography International Photography Awards among others. Giulio is currently represented by Getty Reportage and is a regular contributor to The New York Times, Vanity Fair, The Sunday Times Magazine, Geo and Financial Times among other publications. He based in Bangkok and continues to work throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. Much of his personal work focuses on human adversity in climates of environmental and technological evolution.
Matteo Mendiola (b.1980 Italy) is an art director and creative strategist. After establishing the Milan based creative agency Soda Studio in 2006, in a collaborative effort he founded and served as an art director for the footwear band Volta and 247 showroom . Matteo's proffesional curiosities hang on pendulum between digital and analogue, aiming to explore strategies and interactions between the two worlds. A frequent collaborator with other creatives and agencies, he continues to push the envelope creating fresh, forward looking art and design. His most recent commissions include Diesel, Fendi, Volta Footwear, Bassam Fellow, MontBlanc, Nike, Universal Music, Port Magazine and Orlebar Brown among many others. Matteo is based in Milan and continues to serve numerous multinational corporations and international brands throughout Europe and Asia.
Aecha Adam (b.1985 Maldives) studied fine art and advertising design in Hawaii and Malaysia before completing her post grad in documentary photography in Australia. She has worked extensively in public relations and media throughout much of Asia collaborating with a diverse range of clientele including some of the world’s most luxurious hotel chains, NGOs, corporations and small businesses, designing perceptive content for social media with the brand at its core. Her current practice focuses on film based narratives within the corporate and NGO worlds, examining hidden structures of successful branding through analysis and (re)construction. She is currently based between Maldives and Bangkok and continues to cultivate both personal and professional curiosities in an array of new and exciting visual disciplines throughout Asia and Africa.
